If you are trying to add another faculty member to your Canvas course and you find that you cannot select the “+ People” button, you must first update the “End” date for the course in the Settings tab. Once the “End” date passes in Canvas, you can no longer add others to the “People” tab.
- Select the “Settings” tab
- Update the “End” date to tomorrow’s date and then select “Update Course Details” at the bottom of the page
- The “+People” button should now be blue and clickable once again.
